Terms & Conditions
Option 1: Pick-up at our Production Facility
For those of you who live close by, picking your order up is the least expensive option. You will be responsible for bringing blankets or other packing materials to protect your items in transit. We will be available M-F, 8:00-3:30 to help you load your items into your vehicle. If you have scheduled a weekend pick up there may not be anyone here who can assist you with loading. You should plan to bring another person along who can help you. Please call 978-500-3414 to notify us when you will be picking up.
Option 2: "Blanket-Wrap" Shipping Service with In-Home Delivery
LakeAndMountainHome works with several reputable shippers who will blanket-wrap your purchase and deliver it into your home. It is our experience that this is the safest way to get your goods from our facility to your home. While a blanket-wrap shipper may take longer to get the delivery to you (depending on your location) this option is, in our opinion, the best way to go. If you opt for white Glove-in home delivery this will include the price of setting items up in your home as well. In-home, white glove delivery is more expensive than common carrier but may be well worth the headache.
Option 3: Box Packaging with Common Carrier Delivery
LakeAndMountainHome staff will wrap and palletize your order to be delivered by common carrier. Depending on your location deliveries may take up to 5 days in transit once they've left our warehouse. Deliveries made by common carrier will be off-loaded in an area close to, but not in, your nearest entry way. If an 18-wheeler truck is unable to navigate your road and/or driveway, you will be expected to meet them at the closest location possible to your home. The shipper will contact you approximately 24 hours in advance of delivery so that you will be at home when they arrive. You will be expected to help off-load the truck and discard your own palette and packaging materials. The least expensive way to ship via common carrier is "Curbside" delivery. You will be expected to off-load the truck and discard your own palette and packaging materials. You can request a lift gate delivery which will add $80 to the cost but will also make it much easier to off load heavy items.
IF THE PACKAGING IS DAMAGED DO NOT ACCEPT IT FROM THE CARRIER . If you accept a damaged shipment you will incur the return shipping charges. If in doubt, open the shipment when the carrier is still on location and take photos whenever possible. If you reject the shipment due to damage, the cost of the return shipping will be covered by the carrier. By accepting a damaged package you are acknowledging that any repair or return costs will be at your expense. We will offer a replacement at no charge providing all steps have been followed as stated. Most all our tables will arrive to you in knock-down condition and light assembly will be required once in your home.

It will be up to the customer to make certain all the information is correct and notify us with 48 hours of receiving the confirmation to make any adjustments or corrections. Please make certain to measure correctly and account for moldings etc. ALL SALES ON CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL.
Variations in size, color and texture are common occurrences in aged wood and should not be considered as defects. Such features as old saw marks, nail or worm holes, uneven boards, sunspots etc. are what make these tables unique and special. While every precaution has been taken in our finishing process to prevent movement in the wood, fine splits may occur as the wood adjusts to new interior "climates".
We will repair or replace a table where splitting has occurred of ¼” wide or more. Longer, hair-thin “fractures” may appear in dryer months but can be disguised easily with colored paste wax available in most hardware stores. We will be happy to assist you in small or larger repairs however; we are not responsible for getting the table back to our facility to do so.
Breadboard ends may also extend beyond the width of the table during the drier months of the year. This is normal and not considered a defect. As moisture returns to the air the breadboard ends will once again be flush with the width of the table. If you live in a dry climate you might want to consider a table without breadboard ends if this is inclined to bother you.
