White Reclaimed Wood Coffee Table
Over the years many have expressed doubts about painting over beautiful wood. If done well, a painted salvaged wood furniture item is stunning and can be just as beautiful and natural looking. Centuries ago, painting wood was done often to preserve the wood and to add a bit of color. While not as common today, many people choose to paint their tables to compliment their décor and balance other colors in their room. Nothing provides a better back drop than an all white table. When done correctly, the beautiful old wood grain and texture is still noticeable even after its painted. This century old reclaimed wooden coffee table was painted in our snow white and was lightly rubbed back exposing the wood below. Seen with a cabriole leg style and a shelf, this is bound to be an eye catcher in the coastal home it’s headed for. As seen: 48” x 38” x 2” thick old pine in our snow white finish. Light rub thru distress.
